Connections Credit Union is Hiring a Training and Development Specialist Near Boise, ID

Connections Credit Union is looking for a full-time Training and Development Specialist. The location for this position is openand TBD. We're looking for a candidate that has a passion for helping others, is eager to get creative and has a positive attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Training and Development Specialist you will work to promote employee growth and success through the application of individual and group training programs consistent with the Credit Union's organizational priorities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Conducts new employee onboarding and continued on-the-job training for various levels of existing employees. Training will include but is not limited to cross-selling opportunities, updates/enhancements, policy/procedure changes, and new product deployment. ***Regular and consistent travel will be required for this position***
  • Creates and delivers training programs through engaging sessions using a variety of methods including individual training, group instructions, e-learning, workshops, and simulations. Designs training manuals and related materials such as handbooks, visual aids, and tutorials.
  • Provides timely and effective responses to training related questions from employees. Helps resolve issues and ensure clarity by offering information and resources
  • Tracks the progress of employees and evaluates the effectiveness of the current training programs/tools through testing, observation, and feedback
  • Completes required reports and documents; attends meetings as required
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
  • Will maintain an in-depth knowledge of all credit union products, services, policies and procedures, as well an understanding of the overall mission for the credit union.
  • Will ensure all training channels are current and accurate.
  • Must be bondable

Experience: One year or more relevant experience

Eductaion: High School Doplma/GED

Schedule: Monday – Friday / 8:30am – 5:30pm

Pay: $17.00-$26.00 per hour DOE

Connections Credit Union also offers monthly, quarterly annual incentives if eligible.
